The Bowline Brothers consists of Tommy Auckland and Blake Hager, Lifelong musicians and friends, The Bowline Brothers were born and bred in Kansas City.
We play a wide variety cover songs from all eras, as well as original tunes. We are experienced, with a strong following in town. We are well rehearsed, arrive on time, load in and set up discreetly, play on time, and play with passion, no matter the venue.

“Brothers”
While Blake and Tommy are not technically related, their friendship goes back to their early days on Earth. The name “Bowline Brothers” is based on the Bowline Knot, also known as the “King of Knots”. This name was chosen to allude to the fact that Tommy and Blake are (k)not brothers, but still share A bond stronger than blood.
